About the Job
Aqueity, a leading technology service provider, is looking for an on-site Human Resources Manager who will lead and direct all aspects of people operations for the organization, including employee engagement, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, training and development, policy development and management guidance/coaching.
Responsibilities:
- Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Provides coaching, support and guidance to department managers and organization leadership when complex, specialized, and sensitive issues arise, including performance feedback, reasonable accommodations, investigations, and terminations.
- Manages the talent acquisition process, including active sourcing, reviewing resumes, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for IT, managerial, and professional roles; collaborates with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Researches and analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; administers compensation plan and manages annual benefits renewal process, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Partners with department leadership creating career path plans for team, targeted learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for team members; work with third party training vendors as needed.
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Manage company’s performance management process.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Creates and manages company and employee programs focused on maintaining an exceptional employee experience and work culture - employee recognition programs, team events, employee surveys, etc.
- Acts as backup to Finance Manager for biweekly payroll.
- Leads other projects and initiatives as needed.
Required Education, Experience, Skills/Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- A minimum of 5-10 years of human resource management experience in all aspects of HR required.
- Experience recruiting for IT positions required.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
- Experience in IT and/or consulting services industries a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 including Teams and Outlook.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn TriNet Zenefits HRIS and talent management systems.
- Ability to work with shifting priorities and display high sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent project management skills.
