Role: HR Manager
Location: Long Island Queens, NY
Salary: Up to $95,000 DOE
Are you an experienced HR Manager looking to make an impact with a dynamic construction company on Long Island? We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR professional to manage HR operations, payroll processing, and support company growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time, handling employee inquiries related to compensation.
- Maintain and organize employee records, benefits administration, and compliance documentation.
- Utilize Excel for data tracking, payroll reconciliation, and reporting.
- Conduct periodic reviews of HR policies to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Support management with HR strategy, training initiatives, and employee engagement programs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in HR management, preferably within the construction or design/build industry.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and experience with HRIS systems.
- Proficiency in Excel, with experience creating spreadsheets, reports, and payroll tracking.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
