Position Overview:
Maü Miami is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience and fostering a culture of excellence and hospitality within our organization.
Job duties
- Develop and implement human resources strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives and culture of Maü Miami.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance management, and offboarding processes.
- Lead recruitment efforts to attract and retain top talent, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
- Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure new hires are integrated seamlessly into the Maü Miami team.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Implement performance management systems and processes to set clear expectations, provide feedback, and recognize and reward employee contributions.
- Handle employee relations issues and grievances in a fair and consistent manner, promoting a positive work environment and resolving conflicts effectively.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, maintaining accurate employee records and documentation.
- Manage employee benefits and compensation programs, ensuring competitive and equitable compensation practices.
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives that promote a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in human resources management, applying insights to innovate and optimize HR processes at Maü Miami.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a human resources management role, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing team and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives and drive organizational change.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
