About the Role
ECBM is looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our team in our HR Department! This person will report to the VP of HR. This person will oversee and manage all aspects of our human resources practices and processes. This position helps foster a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and is responsible for employee development, and aligning HR strategies with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- HR Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Talent Acquisition: Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring the attraction and selection of top talent. Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to enhance employee retention. This role will require you to actively participate in recruitment efforts, conducting interviews, and engaging with candidates to ensure a seamless hiring experience.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management, addressing employee concerns and fostering a positive work environment. Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolution.
- Performance Management: Design and implement performance management systems that promote employee development and align with organizational goals. Provide guidance on performance evaluations and feedback processes.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and career growth. Promote a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Employee Benefits Programs: Responsible for overseeing and coordinating Employee Benefits Programs.
- Compliance and Policy Management: Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations. Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and make data-driven decisions. Prepare reports for senior management on HR trends and issues.
- Special Projects as required by management.
Education & Experience
- College degree preferred.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR/SPHR certification.
- Experience in change management and organizational development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
- 10 years of experience in Human Resources and Supervision with companies employing over 100 employees.
