About the Job
Round Hill Search seeks a skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join a reputable AmLaw 100 firm in Century City. This role requires a candidate with 5-6 years of HR management experience in a large, dynamic organization. While prior law firm experience is not required, a background in a corporate environment with proven expertise in handling complex HR functions is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and initiatives that align with the firm’s strategic goals and comply with California labor laws and regulations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to management and staff, addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Oversee recruitment strategies, coordinate hiring efforts, and design onboarding programs to integrate new hires effectively.
- Drive performance evaluations, goal-setting, and professional development initiatives to enhance employee growth and retention.
- Adhere to state and federal employment laws, including wage/hour regulations and workplace safety standards.
- Partner with leadership to manage competitive compensation structures, administer benefits programs, and lead open enrollment processes.
- Identify skill gaps and implement training programs to empower employees with the tools needed for success.
- Lead HR initiatives related to organizational changes, such as mergers, restructuring, or policy updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (HR certification such as SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR is preferred).
- 5-6 years of HR management experience in a large organization.
- In-depth knowledge of California employment laws and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all firm levels.
- Proven leadership capabilities and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms and familiarity with data-driven decision-making.
- Track record of building collaborative relationships with leadership and teams.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to day-to-day HR operations.

Salary: $150,000 - $200,000,commensurate with your experience and qualifications
