ARI's Human Resources business is growing rapidly, and we're looking to add a hands on, dynamic Human Resources Manager to our team who will provide our clients with premium service across all HR areas.
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for applying business knowledge and HR expertise to assist clients with a wide range of HR issues. The successful candidate will provide senior-level support on matters related to recruiting, employee relations, benefits, performance management, policy and procedure creation and review, and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship with clients and staff.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage HR team members, including training, coaching, counseling, and participating in the hiring process.
- Act as guiding resource for HR department in all HR competencies
- Interpret and resolve escalated client matters; provide guidance and develop policies, procedures, and processes for clients; provide coaching and training to clients on various HR matters.
- Ensure delivery of strategic and project-based client work is on time and within established budgets.
- Initiate and lead internal ARI HR programs and projects.
- Provide input to Firm leadership regarding strategic planning of the HR function; formulate practical plans to address human resources matters and carry out HR-related initiatives.
- Analyze data and provide strategic HR recommendations based on the results of the data analysis.
- Continuously improve the HR function: review systems and processes and make modifications to address issues; educate HR team on changing laws to ensure legal compliance both internally and for client work.
- Ability to develop and deliver HR training programs to internal and external audiences.
- Participate in the business development of the firm through expanded client project work or new business leads, including attendance at outside networking or Firm events.
- Able to step in and perform all job responsibilities of all direct reports, as necessary.
- Travel to local client locations as required for performance of the engagement.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in HR Management or related discipline
- A minimum of 7-9 years of related experience, preferably in an HR Consulting environment
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of various employment laws
- Experience with HRIS systems
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, functions, methods, and best practices
- Ability to multi-task and manage to deadlines and budget parameters.
- Experience with business development/networking or willingness to assume this responsibility.
