HRD is seeking an HR Manager for a growing industrial client HQ in Conyers, Georgia. This role reports to the Head of HR and will be supporting all areas of HR. This is an onsite position in the Conyers office with great visibility and impact across the organization.

This leader will collaborate with managers and field leaders to create lasting relationships and make a positive impact on the business.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure positive employee relations and build the company culture based on the established Core values
- Responsible for executing human resource programs, including but not limited to:
- Compensation
- Employee relations
- Recruiting and onboarding
- Performance and talent management
- Productivity, recognition, and morale
- Benefits and leave administration
- Disciplinary matters, disputes, and investigations
- Takes the lead in the workforce development strategy to continue to be an employer of choice in local communities.
- Manages the talent acquisition process, ensuring high standards of attracting the best talent.
- Ensure all recruiting activity and documentation are managed in the applicant tracking system and in accordance with affirmative action policies.
- Responsible for new employee orientations, ensuring the employee experience is exceptional.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
- Performs periodic audits of HR records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately
- Successfully establish and maintain professional relationships with employees and all levels of management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- 5+ years minimum HR experience required
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
