Human Resources Manager - Construction Company - Base Salary to 100k/year - West Chester, PA
- Our client is a demolition and remediation construction company based in the West Chester, PA area that is looking to bring on a Human Resources Manager. The responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager will involve a combination of administrative and human resource functions, requiring exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate to identify, develop, and implement key initiatives, including talent and performance management, change management, workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee and career development, rewards and recognition, and coaching for employees and managers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, stakeholders, colleagues, and customers inside and outside the office to align, innovate, and enhance Office and HR initiatives.
- Recommend, amend, and drive improvements to office and HR systems, policies, and processes by staying informed of marketplace trends and best practices.
- Identify and address employee performance issues, providing appropriate solutions.
- Lead employee engagement programs and initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Provide candid and constructive feedback to business leaders regarding talent moves, gaps, promotions, and growth opportunities.
- Assist in developing compensation and benefits structures to ensure alignment with industry standards.
- Prepare and manage various documents, including letters, meeting minutes, memos, proposals, and expense reports.
- Coordinate and prepare for meetings and training sessions, including scheduling and organizing materials.
- Assist in planning office events and initiatives, such as team-building activities, community service projects, and other gatherings.
- Arrange travel for managers and other team members as needed.
- Serve as a key communication hub by answering calls and liaising with vendors and clients in the absence of Estimators or Project Managers.
- Manage office filing systems to ensure proper organization and archiving of
documents.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree preferred, with 4+ years of people management or HR experience (construction administration experience is a plus).
- Prior experience in organizational development, HR administration, and business support is required.
- Knowledge of professional best practices and industry trends in all HR-related functions and responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of technical areas of Human Resources.
- Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 70k - 100k/year range
