Location Description:
The iconic Arizona Biltmore is located in the heart of the prestigious Biltmore neighborhood in Phoenix. The resort was named the “Jewel of the Desert” since its opening on February 23, 1929. This gorgeous 39-acre property reopened in May 2021 after undergoing a $150 million restoration and has over 700 rooms, over 200,000 square feet in banquet space, and 8 food and beverage outlets (including 2 restaurants, 2 bars, 2 poolside bars, a gelato shop/café, and in-room dining).

Overview:As a Human Resources Manager, you are responsible for managing the day to day flow of general HR inquiries and office activities to include: assisting with general inquires from employees, HRIS System data maintenance, onboarding oversight, leave of absence, ADA and other employment actions. This includes but is not limited to, the following duties:
- Provide general HR support, addressing employee inquiries, concerns, and requests.
- Maintain HR systems, processes, and ensure data integrity.
- Support employees with leave of absence requests, documentation, and tracking.
- Assist with ADA accommodation requests, facilitate interactive conversations, track progress, and support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HR regulations.
- Apply company HR policies consistently across the organization.
- Collaborate with leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Support and mentor the HR Coordinator.
- Assist in property recognition, employee celebrations, and community engagement initiatives.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS
- Staying up to date on current employment laws.
- Assist with payroll issues to ensure property pay for all employees.
- Work with department managers on wage staffing questions.
- Market Survey.
- Assisting with translation (Spanish/English).
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred.
- Previous hospitality experience, preferred.
- SHRM-CP or PHR Certification, preferred.
