- Requires on-site work (South State Street)
- Nice benefits package, paying up to $100,000 annually
- Part of a 5-person HR team
- Focus: Talent acquisition, recruitment & retention and training & development
- Supports approximately 100 employees (some high turn over positions)
Human Resources Manager Responsibilities:
- Reports to the Director of Human Resources. Primary focus: full cycle recruitment (exempt & non-exempt), supporting onboarding and offboarding, new hire orientation and first day trainings.
- Creates, advertises and publishes job requisitions.
- Conducts pre-employment screenings (criminal and drug screening), reference checking, offer letter paperwork, etc.
- Professionally handles confidential and sensitive employee information.
- Directly and swiftly handles any and all employee investigations and personnel matters.
- Provides and issues important employee communications.
- Assists HR team with benefits administration, enrollments, benefit terminations, etc., (medical, vision, dental, COBRA, 401(k) and commuter benefits.
- Reviews the company's monthly employee benefit invoices for accuracy.
- Maintains HR database (Paycom).
- Handles all workers compensation claims and follow-ups.
- Coordinate and administer all employee leave of absence requests and follow-up.
Human Resources Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, preferably in Human Resources. MBA desirable but not required.
- At least five (5) years of progressive human resources management experience, preferably from within the affordable housing or section 8 sectors.
- Prior experience using an ERP for applicant tracking, employee. personnel management database, reporting. We utilize Paycom.
- Strong computer skills, strong speaker and excellent business writing & researching skills.
