Position summary:
The Human Resources Intern provides support to the Human Resources department by assisting in a variety of human resources areas, including but not limited to: the recruitment and hiring processes, administration assistance with benefits, internal communications, wellness and other day to day tasks as assigned.
Essential Duties and responsibilities:
- Professionally represent Omni Glass & Paint, ensuring all employees have a first-class experience
- Post job opportunities on the company website and a variety of other job boards
- Conduct phone interviews to screen applicants for minimum job qualifications
- Conduct reference checks and coordinate pre-employment screenings
- Prepare and assist with new hire orientation
- Maintain accurate employee records in ADP Workforce Now
- Assist with the annual performance review cycle
- Assist with the annual benefit open enrollment
- Assist with wellness activities
- Assist with electronic filing as needed
- Coordinate employee engagement activities
- Perform various clerical duties
- All other duties as assigned

- Currently attending school with emphasis on Human Resources, Recruiting or Business Admin. - required
- Previous administrative experience - preferred
- Experience with a HRIS and Applicant Tracking Software program- preferred
- Self-starter with multi-tasking skills and great adaptability skills - required
- Maintain high level of confidentiality - required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- required
- Demonstrated proficiency (intermediate level) in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) - required
