The Role of our Human Resource Intern will assist and be a part of the Human Resource team, aiding with various functions and tasks that pertain to the HR field. Lyons Magnus provides a great atmosphere for Students to gain experience and knowledge within the Field of Human Resources.
Pay Range: $20.00 /hour
Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Location: Fresno, CA
Core Responsibilities:
- Supports the mission, values and vision of the company.
- Maintains the best interest of Lyons Magnus first and foremost.
- Work with employees of Lyons Magnus in a positive and constructive manner to maintain a professional relationship. Demonstrates courtesy, discretion, friendliness and diplomacy.
- Works within a team environment to share information and help others as needed.
- Provide Administrative support with filing, answering phones, and data input.
- Updating information in the HRIS.
- Preparing new hire orientations, training and development programs.
- Contact and arrange candidates for interviews.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
- Demonstrated organizational skills in order to effectively manage projects.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills.
- Ability to operate all standard office equipment.
- Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities, in a fast-paced office.
- Ability to present a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service always
- Strong work ethic.
Education and/or Experience:
- Actively attending a university towards their undergraduate degree in Human Resources from an accredited university or college
