About ProBio
ProBio proactively provides end-to-end CDMO service from drug discovery to commercialization with proactive strategies, professional solutions and efficient processes in cell and gene therapy (CGT), vaccine, biologics discovery and antibody protein drug to accelerate drug development for customers. ProBio’s total cell and gene therapy solution covers CMC of plasmid and virus for IND filing as well as clinical manufacturing and commercial manufacturing. In terms of plasmid service, ProBio supports the most clinical approvals for CGT drugs including mRNA vaccines, CAR-T in China. It is also the first GMP manufacturing platform to provide in vitro transcription (IVT) template linearized plasmids for mRNA vaccines and has supported several mRNA vaccine global enterprises to obtain clinical approvals. In terms of viral vector service, \ProBio has a stable and high-yield viral vector platform.
Position Overview:
The HR Business Partner position will collaborate with business leaders to understand organizational goals and provide HR insights for strategic decision making.
Please note that this position is based onsite in Pennington, NJ for 3 days per week and Piscataway for 1 day per week. This role will provide strategic support to our ProBio operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead workforce planning to assess current and future talent needs and partner with key stakeholders (hiring managers, talent acquisition partners, third-party staffing agencies, etc.) and develop effective hiring strategies.
- Drive initiatives (including goal-setting, performance reviews, and development plans) to enhance organizational effectiveness, team dynamics, and employee engagement.
- Coach managers on effective performance feedback and improvement strategies.
- Implement change management strategies to support organizational growth and development in a matrix organization
- Utilize HR analytics and business intelligence to identify trends, measure HR effectiveness, and inform data-driven decision-making.
- Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions to maintain a positive work environment.
- Build collaborative and trust-based relationships with a global team, including business leaders and the global HR team (COEs, SSC), ensuring seamless communication and alignment with global business objectives
- Develop and execute global HR policies and strategies that align with local practices and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrate leadership by driving initiatives that enhance efficiency and productivity, aiming to upgrade existing workflows and processes involving multiple stakeholders.
- Daily administrative tasks include inputting HR data, filing documents, following up on compliance requirements, and other related responsibilities.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field required.
- Minimum of 7 to 9 years of human resource experience with a proven record of problem-solving and creative thinking. Previous HR business partner experience is highly recommended.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong business and finance acumen, capable of making data-driven decisions.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is highly desired.
