Human Resources Assistant

Pay From:$50,000 per year
MUST:
Experienced Human Resources Assistant
Minimum of 1 year of direct Human Resources experience.
Previous GovCon experience required
Hands-on experience with recruiting required.
Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications. Prior working experience with Deltek CostPoint, Deltek Talent, and Employee Navigator is a plus.
Bachelors degree preferred
DUTIES:
The HR Assistant will perform administrative tasks to support effective and efficient operations of the Human Resource department with a core focus on Recruitment. We are looking for a knowledgeable and proactive professional who takes initiative and is a team player.
Responsibilities include:
Leading in the in-house talent acquisition efforts and recruitment processes as regulated by the OFFCP.
Addressing questions from employees related to standard HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
Assisting with orientation and onboarding of new employees as well as off-boarding departing employees, and employee issues and questions.
Assisting in the organization of annual employee training and performance evaluations.
Gathering and analyzing data with useful HR metrics that can be utilized to support the Company in business decisions as directed.
Assisting in annual reporting requirements as directed by senior HR personnel, such as the EEO-1 and AAP.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date Human Resources files, records, and documentation and performing periodic HR audits as directed.
Maintaining total integrity and confidentiality of Human Resources files and records.
Performing other duties as assigned.
