The HR Generalist plays a crucial role in supporting the human resources function within our organization. This multifaceted position combines HR metric reporting with HR generalist duties, requiring a versatile skill set and a deep understanding of the HR landscape. As a HR Generalist, you will be an integral part of the HR team, contributing to the overall success of the organization by attracting top talent and supporting HR initiatives. You will be responsible for managing the HRIS system for KINA, monthly HR metric reporting, onboarding new hire employees while also providing support in various HR areas, ensuring the smooth functioning of the company’s HR processes at our Winchester, VA, and Newark, OH sites.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) preferred.
- Minimum three (2) years’ experience needed. Prefer experience recruiting for a manufacturing environment, or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the above knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Experience as a Recruiter or HR Generalist, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with HR policies and procedures, and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and applicant tracking software.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Manage administrative responsibilities for employee files.
