Human Resources Generalist - HR Works

HR Works is supporting its client, a Manufacturing company in Penfield, NY, with its search for a Human Resource Generalist. This is a Direct Placement Opportunity. The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for various functions of the Human Resource department, including talent, compensation, benefits, reporting, and administration of company policies. The compensation range for this role is $70,000-$80,000.

This position is the sole HR Administrator for the location (100 employees) but works remotely and in partnership with a team of HR professionals. The ideal candidate for this role is comfortable working autonomously but enjoys and thrives in a collaborative, remote team environment. In addition to HR Generalist functions, the HR Generalist will partner with managers in learning and development, coaching, and will work closely with the Payroll Accountant to ensure accuracy in bill reconciliation and payroll processing.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field required
• A minimum of five years of experience in Human Resources supporting all areas of HR (Generalist)
• A minimum of three years in a manufacturing environment is required
• Strong ability to multitask
• Superb conflict resolution skills 
• Ability to display integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times
• Strong knowledge of laws and regulations
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Proficient in HRIS and talent management systems
