PrideStaff has a great opportunity for a Bilingual HR Generalist
Perform human resources related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some /or all the following functional areas: employee relations, training & development, staffing,employment, labor relations, Workers compensation, benefits, Leave of Absence, H2A and legally
required programs.
The human resources generalist will have both administrative and strategic
responsibilities.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Partner with employees and management to communicate various human resources
policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations.
? Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training,anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
? Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new
technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
? Respond to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints.
? Represent the company regarding any unemployment claims.
? Facilitate and/or provide training (including orientation) to the workforce.
? Interview, screen, and recruit job applicants to fill entry level, professional, and
technical job openings.
? Review applications and provide guidance and/or conduct interviews of applicants to experience with specific job-related requirements.
? Represent management in investigating, answering, and settling grievances, by arranging and scheduling grievance hearings between personnel, supervisor, and the management team.
? Conduct new hire orientation.
? H2A program support. Provide assistance with the processing of paperwork and administration of the H2A guest worker program supporting the Director of HR.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
? This position requires a bachelor’s degree in human resources management, or a related field. A combination of education and work experience will be considered.
? The employee will have one to three years of experience in human resources
management.
? Background in employment law and other government compliance regulations is preferred.
? HR certification a plus (SHRM, etc)

? Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
? Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
? Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
? The employee will have the ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues.
? The employee will have the ability to research and analyze various types of data information.
? This employee must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures,regulation /or government law.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $40.00 - $50.00 Per Hour
