Responsibilities of the HR Generalist:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates, ensuring a diverse and talented pool of applicants.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, providing them with a seamless transition into the company.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, respect, and collaboration.
- Conduct regular check-ins with team members to assess job satisfaction and engagement.
Performance Management:
- Administer performance appraisal processes, providing guidance to managers and employees on goal setting and performance feedback.
- Identify opportunities for employee development and training to support career growth and advancement.
- Implement performance improvement plans as needed, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Coordinate payroll and benefits administration, liaising with external vendors as necessary.
- Stay abreast of legal and regulatory changes affecting HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance at all times.
Qualifications of the HR Generalist:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, preferably in a start-up or fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
