Human Resources Generalist - Spherion

Spherion Naples is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to become a key contributor and make a meaningful impact to the team. In this role, you'll manage diverse human resources functions, from employee relations to performance management and compliance. Your work will directly impact our employee engagement and organizational success.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate the hiring process, including posting jobs, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
Facilitate onboarding to ensure a seamless transition for new team members.
Serve as a trusted resource for employee inquiries and concerns.
Support resolution of workplace conflicts and promote open communication.
Guide managers through the performance review process and provide training on best practices.
Assist in creating and executing performance improvement plans.
Identify employee training needs and coordinate development programs.
Support initiatives to boost engagement and professional growth.
Collaborate on the development, implementation, and updating of HR policies.
Ensure adherence to labor laws and industry regulations.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and databases.
Support payroll processing and benefits administration.
Generate HR reports and analyze trends to inform decisions.
Monitor metrics to drive continuous improvement initiative

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Full-time, non-exempt role
Monday-Thursday: 8 AM-5 PM
Friday: 8 AM-3 PM

Education:
Bachelors

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years in an HR role, preferably as a Generalist.
Strong knowledge of HR principles and employment laws.
Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite.
Exceptional communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
A high level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) and familiarity with diversity and inclusion strategies.
