BGSF Staffing's client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth HR operations, focusing on utilizing Workday HCM, Workday Payroll, and completing the payroll process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day HR operations, including employee data management in Workday HCM.
- Oversee payroll processing using Workday Payroll to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Serve as the primary contact for payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Support HR compliance, ensuring adherence to labor laws and company policies.
- Assist in onboarding, offboarding, and other employee lifecycle processes.
- Provide reports and insights on HR metrics using Workday tools.
- Collaborate with other HR team members to enhance employee experience and HR efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
- Hands-on expertise with Workday HCM Core and Workday Payroll is required.
- Strong knowledge of payroll administration, including tax compliance and deductions.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
