Human Resources Generalist
Ultimate Staffing is seeking a bilingual Human Resources Generalist (English/Spanish) with 3-5 years of experience in key HR functions including candidate management, employee engagement, onboarding, and talent acquisition for one of our clients in the Miami Airport area. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can effectively manage multiple priorities, and demonstrates strong communication and technology skills. This role requires frequent interaction with senior leadership and department heads and will be based on-site at two office locations in the Miami and Sunrise Florida area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Post job openings both internally and externally
* Coordinate with staffing agencies and manage job advertisements
* Schedule and participate in interviews alongside department leaders
* Process pre-hire and new hire paperwork, including onboarding through E-Verify
* Reconcile benefits invoices and manage updates to employee benefit plans, including 401(k)
* Handle termination processes and conduct exit interviews
* Provide backup support for payroll functions
* Manage employee leaves, including FMLA and personal leave, and track necessary documentation
* Oversee workers' compensation claims from initial injury to return-to-work status, including Form 300 updates
* Assist employees with work-related inquiries and concerns
Required Skills/Competencies/Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
* 2-3 years of Human Resources experience
* Experience with ADP Workforce Now
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and
