Stress Care of New Jersey, LLC is a Behavioral Health and Addiction Treatment Center licensed by the State of NJ and accredited by The Joint Commission. At Stress Care, we provide a full range of Outpatient Services, including Psychiatric Evaluations, Medication Management, Traditional Therapy, Group Therapy, Intensive Outpatient Programs, and Partial Care. We work with adults and adolescents and our integrated treatment team consists of Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Social Workers, Counselors, Peer Professionals, and other allied team members
Stress Care of New Jersey is looking for a to perform duties in accordance with the agency’s policies and procedures. Daily tasks will include scheduling applicants, assisting with maintaining personnel records, and maintaining a positive work environment.
In this role, you will:
- Protect confidentiality in regards to company and employee information (including payroll, demographics, discipline, accommodation requests, family matters, etc.)
- Maintain working knowledge of policies and procedures, pay practices, employee benefits, employment laws, and communicate understanding and utilization with employees
- Coordinate hiring needs under the direction of the HR Manager to recruit, schedule, and conduct initial interview of job applicants.
- Facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation, and regularly scheduled check-ins with staff
- Investigate causes of employee disputes and grievances and recommends corrective action
- Fairly and consistently ensure compliance with Stress Care of New Jersey, Joint Commission, State of New Jersey, and commercial insurance policies and procedures
- Assist with event and program coordination across the agency's 4 locations
Success for the Human Resources Generalistis measured in terms of employee recruitment, satisfaction, development, retention, and achievement of established goals and performance indicators.
The ideal candidate has:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, or translatable social science
- Previous work experience in Human Resources (required)
- Experience in Health Care is highly preferable!
- Ability to maintain a professional attitude at all times
- Experience with full-cycle recruiting
- Professional skills: excellent communication (written and spoken), organization while multitasking, solution focused problem-solving, attention to detail, quick decision-making, effective time management, and ability to work independently within the team

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Three day shifts 9-5, two evening shifts 11-7
