Human Resources Generalist at Masis Professional Group

Masis Professional Group is assisting our client in searching for a Human Resources Generalist in Manchester CT. This is a temp-to-hire HYBRID position (1-2 days per week onsite).

Salary: $30 to $35 per hour based on experience

Schedule: Monday through Friday, standard 40 hour schedule

Duties and Responsibilities:

• This is a hands-on position in a 2-person HR department serving 150 employees nationwide.
• Manage administrative HR tasks including onboarding, offboarding, leave management, maintaining employee data, and related tasks.
• Support implementation of HR best practices
• Handle data entry utilizing HR systems, Paylocity, etc.
• Occasionally travel to local sites in MA
• Work in a collaborative and supportive office environment
• Work with supervisors and managers on HR matters

Experience and Education Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of HR experience
• Knowledge of Paylocity system is a strong plus
• Strong HR administrative experience with data entry in HR systems
• Experience handling various types of employee leave situations
• Experience in onboarding and orientation
• Effective team player who is strong on building and maintaining effective relationships up and down the organization
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledgeable in HR best practices and basic understanding of HR rules and regulations
