BOOST is helping our client; Sedna Digital Solutions (Sedna) find a Human Resources Generalist.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
Workforce Planning
• Develop strategic plans for recruitment and retention.
• Create training and development opportunities to maintain a high-quality workforce.
Policy Evaluation and Implementation
• Review and update corporate policies and the Employee Handbook.
• Ensure alignment with legal requirements, strategic goals, and risk management.
Benefit and Payroll Management
• Support benefits and payroll administration in collaboration with external partners like Paylocity, benefits brokers, and insurance providers.
Employee Performance
• Lead the annual performance review process.
• Work with department heads to address and resolve performance challenges.
Record Keeping
• Maintain accurate HR records, including employment files.
Safety and Health
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to review and enhance workplace safety programs.
Strategic Guidance
• Advise management and employees on HR-related topics, including performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field. An equivalent of four (4) years of combined education, professional training, or related work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s requirement.
Required Experience
• A minimum of five (5) years Human Resource experience.
• Knowledge of Paylocity preferred
• Experience supporting a federal contractor in a similar role
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite products
