The Human Resources Generalist plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing HR operations to ensure seamless processes that align with our organizational goals. We are a hybrid workforce, with onsite collaboration 2-3 days/week.

- Salary: $50-60,000 with up to 10% bonus eligibility
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Compliance
- Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with legal and company standards.
- Policy Implementation: Assist in the implementation, communication, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including documentation for audits and inspections.
- HR Metrics: Generate reports and maintain key HR metrics (e.g., workforce plan, turnover, recruitment timelines, etc.) to guide leadership decisions.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Recruitment Coordination: Support the recruitment process with intern program coordination; scheduling candidate interviews for open requisitions; and maintaining Circa compliance site and AAP.
- Onboarding: Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, training coordination, and orientation sessions.
Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Payroll Processing: Assist with payroll administration by ensuring accuracy in timekeeping and pay calculations.
- Benefits Administration: Support employee benefits enrollment and resolve inquiries related to healthcare, retirement plans, and wellness programs.
Employee Engagement & Development
- Support Programs: Help administer employee engagement programs, such as recognition initiatives and professional development opportunities.
- Feedback Mechanisms: Coordinate employee surveys and assist in analyzing results to improve workplace culture.
- Training Logistics: Organize training sessions to enhance team skills, including compliance, leadership, and mental health awareness.
Operational Efficiency
- HR Systems Management: Manage and optimize HR systems, ensuring data integrity and user accessibility.
- Process Improvements: Identify opportunities for streamlining HR processes and implement efficiency-driven solutions.
- Vendor Liaison: Act as the point of contact for external HR-related vendors (e.g., background checks, benefits providers).
Other Duties as needed or required
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices.
- Proficiency in HR software and systems (e.g., HRIS platforms, ATS platforms).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Positive, go-getter mentality with initiative to improve processes.
Education and Experience:
- Associate’s degree (preferred) in Business, Communications, English, Human Resources, Social Work, or similar field.
- 2+ years of experience in an HR administration or operations-focused role.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with wellness and engagement programs.
- Experience working in a health-care, regulated environment preferred.

- Travel by air, rail, auto (% of time) 10% (plus commute time into the office)
