Human Resources Generalist

Location:

Kansas City, MO

Purpose:

The HR Generalist will manage and support HR and safety policies, programs, and practices at the Kansas City site, ensuring they align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer HR practices and programs, ensuring compliance and alignment with corporate HR initiatives.
• Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries, escalating issues as needed.
• Oversee recruiting and onboarding to attract and retain talent, ensuring compliance with documentation.
• Collaborate with Benefits and Compensation teams on performance programs for employee development.
• Build relationships within teams to support fair employee relations practices.
• Assist with benefits enrollment and wellness activities to enhance engagement.
• Coordinate safety activities to comply with OSHA and corporate guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and records.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, HR, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• 2+ years of progressive HR experience, including safety management in manufacturing.

Certifications:

• SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.

Skills:

• Experience in talent management, recruiting, safety, and compliance.
• Strong project management, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficient in HRIS applications and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting and training.
