We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our community committed to delivering outstanding service and care to associates and residents. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will implement and drive the execution of people operations strategies and programs, including time and labor management, talent acquisition, performance management, associate relations, and talent development. What you'll do:
- Assist with developing and implementing approved strategies, including time and labor management, performance management, and employee relations.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager as required to facilitate recruiting processes.
- Conduct monthly regulatory compliance background checks, such as OIG, EMR, NAR, etc.
- Provide training to managers on how to lead coaching and redirection meetings and proper delivery of constructive feedback.
- Facilitate the new hire onboarding program.
- Assist with performance management and required learning needs.
- Assist managers and employees with Occupational Injury program needs, FMLA, and ADA needs.
- Develop solutions, programs, and policies based on trend and metric analysis.
- Support managers with the scheduling system.
- Consult with leadership to manage employee relations issues and concerns.
- Prepare investigation documentation and assist in preparing and responding to claims from regulatory entities.
- Stay abreast of current legislation, enforcing regulations with managers, recommending new procedures, and conduct training to ensure risk is properly managed.
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures to improve the engagement, operation, and effectiveness of the organization.
- Participate in the annual budget process as needed.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings, training, and other meetings.
What you'll bring:
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-4 years prior related experience in Human Resources supporting business leaders, and talent development initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in business management, human resources, or related field preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively, and gain executive and managerial buy-in.
- Strong communication skills including but not limited to influence and consensus building.
- Experienced in data analytics and comfortable using data to influence and determine important decisions.
- Well-versed in federal and state employment laws and HR compliance to ensure the business is set up for success.
- Requires commitment to demonstrate Christ-like values, per Buckner Mission Statement.
- Ability to stand, walk, stand and sit, sometimes for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to use up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and /or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and /or up to 10 pounds of force continuously to move objects.
- Requires ability to drive assigned vehicle(s) or personal vehicle, with appropriate state license, following all laws applicable; must provide proof of liability insurance and must be eligible to be insured under Buckner's insurance policy. Must be age 21 or older to drive on behalf of Buckner
