About the Job
At Atlantic Squared, the HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting the organization’s human resources operations. This individual will support various HR functions, including compliance, performance management, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, and passionate about fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and create job postings.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
- Oversee new employee orientation and onboarding programs to ensure a smooth transition.
- Promote a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives.
- Support managers in completing evaluations and explaining the process.
- Monitor and manage employee recognition and feedback processes.
- Maintain employee records and HR systems in accordance with legal requirements.
- Provide guidance to employees on benefit options and assist with enrollment.
- Manage leave requests, including FMLA, disability, and other time-off policies.
- Maintain and update HRIS systems and ensure data accuracy.
- Participate in HR projects
- Assist in organizing employee events and wellness initiatives.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in human resources or a related role.
- Solid understanding of HR laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEOC).
- Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS) is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or similar tools.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and changing environment.
