About the Job
Provide daily support for all HR inquiries, management and overall administration of HR policies, procedures and programs. Provide expertise, advice and counsel to the management team and employees. Demonstrate a high-level of integrity, a strong depth of knowledge and a proactive approach to customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Monitor, track, and document compliance with required and optional training, certifications, and work assessments, including safety, anti-harassment, professional licensure, and other relevant courses.
· Recruit, interview, and hire qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborate with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Create offer letters of employment.
· Oversee new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
· Administer and execute various HR programs, including compensation, benefits, leave management, performance and talent management, employee morale, occupational health and safety, training, and development.
· Ensures compliance with all wage and hour laws and best practices.
· Address employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating complex and/or sensitive matters to the HR manager and/or legal representative.
· Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
· Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, reviewing policies to ensure compliance.
· Foster a positive work environment in line with company culture, promoting communication, and supporting an open-door policy.
REQUIREMENTS
· Considerable knowledge in all areas of HR including principles and practices of human resource administration.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels.
· Highly organized with great attention to detail, memory, and accuracy.
· Proactive, people-oriented, and results-driven with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines.
· Solid understanding of state and federal labor laws and requirements.
· Ability to set priorities, make decisions, and take action in a fast-paced environment.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or business-related experience with 5 years’ experience or equivalent experience
