Human Resources Generalist - East Coast Warehouse & Distribution

East Coast Warehouse is are looking for a dynamic and passionate HR Generalist to join our team. This role requires a proactive, hands-on individual who thrives in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have a depth of knowledge in all areas of HR, including employee relations, performance management, onboarding and compliance. Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for employees, answering questions and providing guidance on various HR policies and procedures.
• Manage complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations when necessary.
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Administer and oversee benefits and employee performance programs.
• Build Onboarding process for all employees.
• Maintain HRMS/HRIS/ERP systems, ensuring data accuracy and optimal utilization.
• Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
• Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources.
• 2 years of experience in Human Resources.
• Experience with Paychex
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and interpret human resources data.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with complex transactions with little supervision.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Proven experience in managing a wide range of HR tasks, including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
