Overview of the Human Resources Generalist Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, screen candidates, and conduct interviews
• Oversee new hire onboarding and orientation
• Manage benefits programs and serve as point of contact for benefits related questions and issues
• Assist with payroll processing and resolve employee timecard issues
• Provide support for performance reviews and development plans
• Investigate and resolve employee complaints and conflicts in a fair and consistent manner

Preferred Qualifications for the Human Resources Generalist:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or another related field
• Minimum three years of experience in an HR Generalist role
• Solid understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in HR software systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Location: This role is 100% onsite in Dowagiac, MI

Salary: $57,000 - $65,000 depending on experience
