Schedule: Monday to Friday, with a choice of shifts: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Each shift includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Salary: $21-$24 an hour dependent on experience (DOE).

Job Description
WSI Trash & Recycling Valet is seeking a dedicated and professional Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This full-time position is crucial in supporting our company's dynamic and growing operations. The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing a variety of human resources activities including recruitment, onboarding, training, and payroll assistance.
Responsibilities
- Designing job descriptions and specifications.
- Posting job vacancies on various platforms.
- Screening and shortlisting candidates.
- Conduct interviews and manage the recruitment process to ensure the selection of top talent.
- Prepare onboarding documents and ensure a smooth integration of new hires into the company culture.
- Complete and verify I-9 documentation to confirm eligibility of employees to work in the U.S.
- Schedule, coordinate, and document training sessions to enhance employee skills and ensure compliance with company policies
- Managing career development and succession planning initiatives.
- Assist with the preparation and administration of payroll processes.
- Serving as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Organizing employee engagement programs and team-building activities.
- Maintaining employee records and ensuring confidentiality and security of data.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Reporting on HR metrics and analyzing data to inform HR strategies.
- Implementing and overseeing performance review systems.
- Assisting managers in setting performance objectives and expectations.
- Promoting diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
- Participating in strategic planning with the HR team and senior management.
- Analyzing workforce trends and making recommendations for future HR needs.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience in Human Resources.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite and HRIS systems.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to speak, read and write in English
- Experience with HR practices and employee management, including hiring, administering benefits, and conflict resolution.
- Effective time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Preferred
