About this role
We are searching for a compassionate, empathetic, and motivated Human Resources Generalist to support our organization of 30+ remote employees. In this role you will be responsible for fostering a positive culture that aligns with our values, navigating policy and compliance in a multi-state work environment, and managing the internal human resources tasks including supporting the hiring, onboarding, and continued development of our team members. You will report to our President and collaborate closely with our leadership team members by:
- Bringing 5+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably an HRCI or SHRM certification, and knowledge of a professional services environment to champion our culture and values, deliver an exceptional employee experience, and foster an inclusive environment
- Using your Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, and knowledge of trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in human resources to ensure HR compliance and stay current on local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations including but not limited to Title VII, COBRA, ADA, ERISA, FLSA, etc.
- Having a small business leadership mindset, broad generalist background, and strong organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple priorities and facilitate aspects of the employee lifecycle and experience including: recruitment and onboarding, employee recognition & events, performance management and development, and collaborating with our PEO and co-employer to support benefits administration, payroll processing, and maintaining employee records
- Seizing the opportunity to dive in and make an immediate impact! In this role, you'll drive the HR function solo, help to develop new policies, and bring a continuous learning mindset to help shape our culture.
- Being personable and relationship driven, leading with emotional intelligence, and be comfortable navigating gray spaces while knowing when to ask for support
