Our Human Resources team is expanding (!) and we are looking for our newest Human Resources Generalist to join Tree House on our journey to our next phase of growth!

The Human Resources Generalist can expect to contribute to all the fundamental layers of Human Resources: talent acquisition, policy creation and maintenance, performance management, benefit administration, employee relations and so… much… more!
As a HR Generalist, you will be responsible for the following, although this is not an exhaustive list:

Talent Acquisition:
- Posting and updating all job postings in various medias including internet/intranet sites, colleges, social networks, community boards and staffing partners
- Responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding employees at Tree House Brewing, across multiple locations
- Working with hiring managers to identify hiring needs, with long-term talent strategy in mind
- Conduct new employee onboarding, ensuring process is engaging and that processes are followed and accurate
- Promote the company's reputation by responding timely to internal and external applicant situations, and applicant requests as required

Benefits Administration:
- Leading annual benefits enrollment process for designated working locations
- Discussing benefit enrollment options with all new hires
- Administering all new hire paperwork

Employee Relations:
- Provide support to employees in various HR related topics, such as leaves and compensation, conflict resolution, benefits, etc. and promptly and efficiently resolving any issues that may arise
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
- Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
- Undertake tasks around performance management
- Assist company leaders in executing employee performance reviews
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
- Ensure compliance with multi-state and federal labor regulations across
- Other duties, responsibilities, and activities related to our HR efforts as needed
Applicant Requirements:

2-3 years experience in a human resources role and preferably within a retail or hospitality environment, or a relevant industry with a large, transient workforce

Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of state and federal employment/labor laws
- Outstanding knowledge of ATS and HRIS systems (ClearCompany + Paylocity experience a plus)
- Ability to maintain a consistently positive attitude, positive outlook and cheerful, friendly disposition.
- Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Experience in policy creation including creative perks and benefits
- Aptitude in conflict resolution/mediation
- Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
- You are self-motivated and able to work autonomously, with a focused and hard-working attitude
- A quick learner who is able to work with minimal or no supervision
- Ability to multitask and work coolly and professionally in time-sensitive situations
- Must have good communication skills with the ability to both receive feedback and offer ideas
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and/or pivot plans quickly in order to coordinate corrective actions needed
- Meticulous attention to detail
This position is full-time and will report into the Senior Director of Human Resources. Our HR Generalist team is based primarily in our Charlton, MA location but will require frequent and regular travel to the locations they are responsible for.
