Here's what you'll do:
- Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, benefits administration, and offboarding.
- Partner with leadership to implement people-centric strategies, processes, and systems to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date organizational charts and job descriptions.
- Oversee health and wellness insurance programs for employees.
- Provide timely and informative responses to employee inquiries regarding company policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Analyze data and trends to generate insightful reports for HR leadership.
- Maintain and organize employee resources, ensuring all forms, policies, and materials are current and accessible.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry and recordkeeping within HR information systems.
- Coordinate and administer leave of absence programs, including FLMA.
- Assist in resolving employee relations matters such as disciplinary actions and conflict resolution.
- Provide backup support for payroll processing.
- Assist with annual HR projects, such as open enrollment and performance reviews.
- Stay current on evolving labor laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
- Partner with other departments to ensure adherence to all applicable legal requirements.
- Support the team with event coordination and preparation.
- Take on additional duties as assigned.
To be successful, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; 3+ years of experience in HR Specialist or Generalist role (may substitute experience for education).
- Hands-on experience with HR information systems a plus.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, legal compliance, and best practices.
- Solid understanding of labor laws and regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly explain complex HR concepts.
- Experience working in a technology environment (a plus).
- Strong judgment and discretion with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Meticulous attention to detail for accurate recordkeeping and data management.
