The HR Generalist proactively supports HR team members including Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, Total Rewards & Operations, and our Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). This role will manage multiple priorities and processes in support of the business, all while upholding confidentially, and maintaining effective communications with all colleagues.
This is a hybrid Headquarters based position. There is an expectation that the candidate will be in the Bedminster office on Tuesday and Wednesday weekly.
Responsibilities:
- Support and manage multiple processes for Home Office and Field functions including recruitment support, background check processes, onboarding, offboarding, and preparing key HR metric reports.
- Recruitment support includes, but not limited to, posting open positions, creating and sending out Offer letters, managing employee referral program and continuously maintaining and updating recruitment metric dashboards. As needed, assist with interview scheduling and function as the point of contact for in-person interview days.
- Manage our background check process including working closely with candidates to ensure their data is processed timely. Review background data for completeness and ensure HR approval processing. Manage expectations of hiring managers during the background check process including establishing start dates and ensuring their completion of onboarding procedures.
- Manage and conduct new hire employee orientation sessions including updating orientation data as needed. Function as the point of contact for onboarding questions.
- Lead the offboarding process with employees exiting the organization including exit interviews, data collection, system notifications, and acting as the point of contact for offboarding questions.
- Run and prepare key HR reports using ADP Workforce Now. Reports required include open requisition reports, turnover reports, and other ad hoc reporting. Provide management with updates and insights based on metrics collected and collated.
- Process department purchase orders and vendor contract processing as needed.
- Problem solve and collaborate interdepartmentally to support effective resolutions.
- Process employee status changes within ADP as instructed
- Manage the HR master calendar, ensuring HR initiatives are streamlined and updated.
- Work with outside counsel on immigration processing and preparing documents for visa support.
- Provide administrative support to the Total Rewards & Operations team as needed, including ADP entry audit.
- Provide Year-End process support across the HR team.
- Schedule various employee trainings and education sessions.
- Support and/or lead various HR projects as assigned.
- Complete all company and job-related training as assigned within the required timelines.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree - HR specialization preferred; SHRM or HRCI certifications a plus.
- 2+ years of experience as an HR generalist/specialist or related experience. Human Resources pharmaceutical experience is a plus.
- Must have at least 1+ years of ADP Workforce Now experience; must be able to make employee status changes and/or run key HR reports (headcount, turnover, etc.)
- Experience streamlining processes is a plus.
- Must have knowledge of national state and federal employment laws.
- Must have strong customer focus skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Must have experience using Microsoft applications and must have advanced technical skills.
- Must be self-motivated, proactive, and highly collaborative.
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Must be able to handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy.
- Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

HR Generalist - Base Salary Range $70,000 - $78,000
