HR Generalist - Direct Hire

Location: Anaheim, CA

Salary: $60K-$70k

Experience: 2-4 years

LHH is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for a client in Anaheim. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the HR Generalist will align with the HR strategy and business goals. This role encompasses a full range of HR responsibilities, including employee relations, compliance with employment laws, performance management, policy implementation, training, and managing compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the hiring process: job postings, resume reviews, interview arrangements, and new hire orientation and paperwork.
• Handle termination processes, including preparing necessary paperwork.
• Communicate HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, and regulations to management.
• Maintain and update HR documents such as organizational charts, employee handbooks, and status change forms.
• Conduct workplace investigations and recommend resolutions to maintain effective employer/employee relationships.
• Enter new hire data, update personnel changes, and assist employees with benefit program enrollment.
• Process background checks and employment verifications through E-Verify.
• Assist management with employee training.
• Advise managers on safety compliance and preventive actions.
• Frequently check and respond to emails.
• Maintain confidential files and safety records.
• Assist with front desk/reception tasks and manage office supplies as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar HR role.
• Basic understanding of employment laws and record retention guidelines.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle complex issues.
