Human Resources Director and Scheduler

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Human Resources Director and Scheduler to join our team. This dual-role position is critical to maintaining a high-performing, well-staffed facility that supports our mission of care excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop corporate plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, health and safety etc.
- Act to support the human factor in the company by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training and development etc.
- Oversee all HR initiatives, systems and tactics
- Serve as the point of contact for employment relations and communicate with labor unions
- Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards
- Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required
- Anticipate and resolve litigation risks
- Report to senior management by analyzing data and using HR metrics
- Monitor and process payroll for the building
- Create and maintain work schedules for all departments, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts
- Respond promptly to call-offs or scheduling gaps, finding replacements as needed
- Notify staff of schedule changes and distribute finalized schedules
- Monitor staffing trends and adjust schedules to optimize labor costs while maintaining high quality care

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HR and/or scheduling, preferably in a skilled nursing setting.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with scheduling software and HR management systems.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
