RELYANT Global, LLC is currently seeking a Human Resources Director. The Human Resources Director performs duties at the professional level in all aspects of Human Resources including, but not limited to, the development, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of company-wide Human Resource programs, practices, policies and procedures in the following functional areas:
- Recruitment, employment and onboarding
- Employee relations
- Employee health and welfare benefits
- 401(k) and retirement plans
- Job evaluations
- Compensation administration
- Performance management and evaluation
- Compliance with local, state, and federal laws
- Human Resources Information System
- Human Resource Training
This position requires a perceptive person, who can relate to individuals at all levels within the organization. Must be sensitive to business needs and employee goodwill.
Responsibilities
- Overseas benefits and 401(k) administration, including communicating benefit information to employees; processing enrollments; and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Reviews various benefit vendors and programs to identify benefits that fit the needs of the employees and the company. Makes recommendations to top executives
- Reviews required benefit plan information between providers, brokers, Company and employees
- Oversees annual open enrollment for employees
- Completes Year end-5500 Questionnaire and coordinates Filing of 5500 IRS From
- Interfaces with Company Executives on a regular basis, providing recommendations and conveying information of significance
- Oversees recruitment efforts for all exempt and non-exempt personnel and temporary employees
- Manages various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; maintains employee handbook
- Files required Vets 4212, EEO-1, and other federal or state required reports
- Handles employee relations counseling and exit interviewing
- Works closely with Legal Department as needed
- Provides guidance to HR Staff by interpreting and administering policies and helping to resolve work-related problems.
- Employee onboarding
- Maintains compliance with all local, federal and state regulations and employment laws, including but not limited to: Civil Rights Act and other applicable EEO laws, Fair Labor Standards Act, Family Medical Leave Act, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, Americans w/ Disabilities Act, Uniform Services Employment and Reemployment Act, and other laws applicable to government contractors.
- Company Synchronized Pre-deployment & Operational Tracker (SPOT) Administrator to include Letters of Authorizations and Common Access Cards
- Manages the Drug-free workplace program.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors' Degree or a minimum of 7+ years of related experience as a Human Resource Director, HR Manager, HR Generalist, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration.
- Knowledge of applicable employment laws and practices.
- Knowledge of wage and hour laws and regulations required to process payroll and accruals.
- Experience in the administration of employee benefits, 401(k), compensation and other Human Resources programs.
- Knowledge of employee benefit plans, HIPAA, Section 125 cafeteria plans and 401(k) profit-sharing plans, including maintenance, recordkeeping, and reporting requirements.
- Strong skills in interpersonal communication, writing, and organization.
- Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity.
- Ability to work with limited supervision and high motivation.
- Ability to work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines.
- Strong computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include MS Word and MS Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping (HRIS system). Experience with MS Power Point and Visio is a plus.
- PHR (Professional Human Resources) or SPHR (Senior Professional Human Resources) certification through the Human Resources Certification Institute-or equivalent, preferred but not required.
- Experience with Federal Government contracting and/or construction industries strongly preferred
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Up to 20% travel required; including internationally
- Must be able to acquire base access (if applicable)
- Security clearance-preferred
