LHH is partnering with a client seeking an experienced Human Resources Director with a strong background in the healthcare industry. The HR Director will lead the development and execution of HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the organization's mission, values, and business objectives.
This role will oversee all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, compliance, and organizational development, ensuring the delivery of exceptional HR services to a diverse workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational goals and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to drive initiatives related to workforce planning, succession planning, and employee engagement.
- Oversee the full cycle of recruitment, onboarding, and retention processes to attract and retain top talent.
- Lead training and development programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees on HR policies, procedures, and compliance.
- Address and resolve employee concerns in a fair, consistent, and timely manner, ensuring alignment with labor laws and company policies.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
- Manage the development and administration of competitive compensation and benefits administration including health and dental insurance, retirement plan, COBRA, FMLA, CFRA, Pregnancy Disability, etc. and unemployment insurance
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to payroll administration.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including those specific to the healthcare sector.
- Mitigate risks through proactive monitoring of workplace safety and employee relations trends.
- Act as the designated management official for union meetings
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Certification in HR (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) preferred
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR leadership experience in the healthcare industry.
- Bilingual Spanish (oral and written)
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and healthcare-specific compliance requirements.
- Experience with Union and Non-Union Workforce
