Responsibilities include:
- Orientation and Onboarding of New Staff: Facilitate the smooth integration of new team members by providing comprehensive orientation and onboarding processes.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure that all organizational policies align with legal regulations, fostering a workplace environment that adheres to federal, state, facility, and regional guidelines.
- Payroll Processing: Execute payroll procedures in strict adherence to federal, state, facility, and regional pay guidelines, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance.
- Time and Attendance Oversight: Review employee time and attendance reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Make necessary corrections promptly.
- Background Checks and Licensing: Conduct criminal background checks, schedule fingerprints, and ensure all nursing staff maintain current and valid licenses.
- State-Required In-Service Training: Facilitate and oversee monthly staff in-service training sessions to meet state-mandated requirements.
- Safety and Compliance Meetings: Lead and coordinate monthly safety and compliance meetings for MedNet, ensuring that all relevant regulations are communicated and adhered to.
- Organizational Skills: Possess strong organizational skills, essential for effectively multitasking various duties and ensuring streamlined operations.
- Collaboration with Scheduler: Work collaboratively with the scheduler and follow established timeclock duties for efficient workforce management.
- Communication with Administrator: Keep the Administrator informed of worker compensation claims and unemployment claims in a timely manner.
- Adherence to Directives: Follow through with directives promptly, maintaining a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
Education:
- Associates or higher level of education
Experience:
- Two years’ experience in payroll or human resources.
