Job Summary: The Director of HR will be responsible for overseeing all human resources functions and initiatives to support the company’s growth objectives. This role will build and manage the HR department, focusing on aligning talent strategy with business goals. The Director of HR will ensure a high-performance culture while fostering employee engagement and development. With a minimum of 7 years of HR experience, the ideal candidate will be a strategic leader who can navigate complex HR challenges and create scalable HR systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities: • Leadership & Strategy: o Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company's long-term business goals. o Lead the HR team, providing direction and ensuring alignment with company objectives. o Build and scale the HR department to support organizational growth and employee engagement. o Partner with senior leadership to provide input on company culture, workforce planning, and organizational development. • Talent Acquisition & Development: o Oversee recruitment strategies to attract top talent and support company growth. o Create and implement employee development programs to enhance skills, career progression, and leadership development. o Establish and manage performance management processes to drive high performance and employee accountability. • Employee Relations & Engagement: o Develop and maintain effective employee relations programs to promote a positive work environment. o Manage employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, feedback loops, and action planning to improve the employee experience. o Ensure consistent enforcement of HR policies and procedures in line with company values and legal compliance. • Compensation & Benefits: o Oversee the design and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits programs. o Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding compensation and benefits. • Compliance & Risk Management: o Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR best practices. o Manage risk related to employment practices, including legal and regulatory compliance. o Oversee policies related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred). • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. • Strong experience in building and scaling HR functions in fast-growing companies. • Deep understanding of HR practices, labor laws, compliance, and best practices. • Proven ability to align HR strategies with organizational goals. • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred
