About the Job
The Human Resources Coordinator will provide support services to the department, in the areas of recruitment, selection, orientation, compensation and benefits administration, employee relations, learning and development, performance management, rewards and recognition, occupational safety/health, employment recordkeeping, and employee communications.
Responsibilities:
- Supports the recruitment and selection process and assists in filling open jobs in an effective and efficient manner.
- Assists with the new employee company orientation for new associates, in accordance with orientation guidelines and structure.
- Assists in ensuring that new employee on-boarding is successfully completed.
- Assists in performing compensation market analysis, and ensures that internal and external equity goals are achieved.
- Assists in providing benefits information to new and current employees regarding available benefits and benefits enrollment, and assists with the benefits administration.
- Maintains basic knowledge of all company benefit programs.
- Assists in facilitating and/or coordinating employee recognition programs, and other company sponsored employee programs and events.
- Provides input to the employee events committee and other task forces responsible for improving employee job satisfaction.
- Provides assistance with learning and development programs.
- Participates in the creation and maintenance of job descriptions.
- Assists with coordinating and administering the rewards and recognition strategies.
- Ensures that Personnel Files are accurately and effectively maintained.
- Ensures that the necessary employee logs and records are maintained such as the I-9 forms, OSHA 300 form(s), EEO applicant flow log, employee training records, workers' compensation files, and applicant files.
- Provides assistance with the employee communication programs.
- Assists with the separation process for employees that separate employment.
- Assists in the identification of new policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with all Human Resource policies and procedures.
- Leads and manages assigned Human Resource projects.
- Identifies ideas to achieve individual and department goals, and takes action to implement ideas.
- Functions in the capacity of trusted advisor and internal consultant to designated clients, and provides the highest quality internal customer service.
- Maintains the highest level of confidentiality and privacy for all employee and company related information.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in business, human resources, psychology, education, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a human resource assistant or coordinator role, or equivalent position.
- Travel to other Vista Health sites may be required.
