The Superior Court of Fulton County Georgia (“Court”) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Coordinator, Senior within its Business Services Division.
Superior Court is Georgia's busiest trial court of general jurisdiction. The Court seeks to provide a forum in which legal disputes between citizens can be resolved in a fair and efficient process with attention to equal access, impartiality, efficiency, and safety. Job Summary:
Manage the daily transactional processes of the human resources function for the Superior Court.

Job Summary:
Manage the daily transactional processes of the human resources function for the Superior Court.
Essential Duties:
- Analyzes human resources-related information and develops action plans.
- Provides technical advice, consultation, and assistance to employees, managers, and administrators on personnel issues and regulations.
- Ensures documents are appropriately processed, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
- Conducts recruitment interviews and orientation sessions.
- Assists and provides training in the development and implementation of departmental training for employees.
- Counsels employees and resolves work-related problems.
- Coordinates departmental requests for personnel actions.
- Oversees payroll preparation and personnel transaction processing.
- Assists in the development of departmental human resources policies and procedures as required.
- Interprets and disseminates personnel-related information and regulations.
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience consulting with senior leadership on human resource related issues. Requires knowledge of management level human resource practices, payroll practices and procedures. Laws, rules, and regulations governing human resources functions. Techniques used to conduct research, gather statistics, and evaluate results. General office practices, procedures, equipment, and technology including HR software.
Requires skill in using spreadsheets, database, word processing, presentation, and other software. Understanding, using, and explaining Court-specific computer applications to manage court processes, gather and analyze statistics, and create reports. Resolving problems. Maintaining accurate records. Conducting research and reporting results. Preparing and presenting oral and written communications. Conducting recruitment interviews. Building sustainable working relationships with other County personnel, officials, and the public. Communicating effectively with coworkers, supervisor, and the public. Generating
enthusiasm and support for program objectives.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, human resources, or related field required; and four or more years of experience in human resources or related field (at least one year of lead or supervisory experience is preferred); or an equivalent combination of education and experience. National HR certifications preferred, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
Licensing Requirements:
May require a valid Georgia driver’s license.
Physical Requirements:
Work is typically performed in an office-like environment. May work in high conflict situations and with difficult, sometimes dangerous parties. Positions in this class typically require stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, sitting, standing, mobility, fingering, grasping, driving, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive physical motions.
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
