Human Resources Coordinator Job Description
We are looking for an organized, energetic and resourceful Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR Team. The HR Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating our hiring/onboarding process to ensure they run smooth for our Departmental Leaders. The HR Coordinator will also provide critical administrative support to the HR Department.
Qualifications: This position requires 2-3 years of experience in providing recruitment, onboarding and administrative support for an HR Team. The Human Resources Coordinator will have a High School Diploma; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred. The Human Resources Coordinator should also have intermediate experience with Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint, excellent interpersonal/customer service skills, and very strong administration and organizational skills. The ability to work with and maintain highly confidential/sensitive information is crucial. Prior experience working in a Health Clinic setting is preferred.
Responsibilities include:
Onboarding
- Coordinate electronic onboarding documents for New Hires
- Conduct New Hire Orientation/Onboarding meeting
- I-9 Administration
- New Hire ID Badge coordination
Administrative
- Maintain and update Departmental Organizational Charts based on New Hires, Terminations and Promotions
- Maintain and approve new hires, status changes, terminations
- Maintain all departmental job descriptions on HR Share drive
- Track annual staff Influenza, PPD & Hep B vaccinations
- Update system relating to HRSA Loan Forgiveness Program
- Administer employee verification requestions
- Administer unemployment verifications
- Assist with planning of Staff events such as Employee Appreciation Week, Open Enrollment, etc.
- Bring all sensitive matters to the attention of Chief Human Resources Officer
- Perform other job duties as directed
- Back-up to Human Resources Specialist
Other: Initial probationary period is three months. Performance of other tasks may be assigned on an as-needed basis.
Salary range: Commensurate with experience.
Travel Requirements: Minimal local travel required between Philadelphia FIGHT Health Centers.
Work Hours: 40 Hours/Week
