The Musco Human Resources department is currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to work from our Oskaloosa office. With a focus on playing a pivotal role in supporting the HR team by overseeing various administrative tasks, facilitating talent acquisition processes, coordinating talent outreach initiatives, and managing new team member onboarding. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organization skills, attention to detail, and independent thinking. What you will do as a Human Resources Coordinator:
Talent Acquisition & Talent Outreach Support
- Assists the Talent Acquisition team with data collection and reporting, transitioning candidates from selection to onboarding, and completion of pre-employment screening processes, all while ensuring an outstanding and timely candidate experience.
- Provides support as needed to ensure the timely creation, update, and closure of job requisitions; ensuring messages are consistent, accurate and tailored to their audience.
- Responds to inquiries from applicants and provides appropriate, timely updates.
- Assists the Talent Outreach Specialist in coordinating outreach activities with education and community partners in line with strategic talent needs and employment branding efforts.
- Provides coordination support for the internship program, including preparation for intern events and coordinating intern orientation.
Onboarding Support
- Coordinates the onboarding process for new hires, including the preparation and distribution of onboarding materials, orientation schedules, and training resources.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for new team members prior to their first day, addressing questions and providing guidance throughout the onboarding period.
- Ensures that new team members complete required paperwork and onboarding tasks.
Administrative Support
- Collects and maintains accurate team member records, documents, and other HR-related documentation, such as offer letters and onboarding materials.
- Identifies process improvements, presents a business case for change and upon approval; assists in change implementation and management.
- Supports the Talent Acquisition Manager and other HR Managers with creating and maintaining accurate data and reporting.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with HRIS software and recruitment platforms preferred.
- Experience navigating various job boards; Indeed, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc. preferred.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations preferred.

- Ability to manage sensitive candidate information, requiring strict confidentiality
- Proven ability to partner and collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders
