We are seeking a newBilingual Human Resources Coordinatorto join our team. Your role will be to perform, coordinate, and administer assigned functions of the HR Department, including providing assistance to the HR Team in various functions, translation of documents into Spanish, and assists with various departmental projects as assigned.
As a member of the Human Resources team, you will work with other HR professionals to ensure that the employee experience is rewarding and in line with company objectives and legal compliance. You will report to our Human Resources Manager.
What You Will Do *(partial list)*:
- Perform all general administrative duties for the HR Department
- - Answering phones and help internal and external customers who come into the office
- Monitor office supply inventory for the department and order as needed or requested;
- Pick up and distribute departmental mail
- Handles employment verification requests
- Runs reports from HCM as needed
- Files documents
- Performs benefit administrative duties for the HR Department
- - Prepares and distributes insurance benefit eligibility notices to new hires;
- Enters payroll deductions for benefits;
- Performs 401(k) administration, including but not limited to
- - Entering 401(k) deferrals and changes in the HCM from Salary Deferral report;
- Assists employees in the completion of insurance benefit selections on the benefits portal;
- Reviews, verifies, and approves employee Jury Duty requests and advises department timekeeper of approvals;
- Assists in supporting the recruiting function, including but not limited to:
- - Posting and removing job posts around the plant
- Enters TEMP New Hires in the HCM;
- Manage the Affirmative Action Log
- Primary responsibility for maintaining all I-9 forms and documentation;
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring:
Our ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills:
- Associates degree or equivalent in Human Resources or related field (preferred but not required)
- Extensive background in a fast paced HR Office;
- General knowledge of HR processes;
- Familiarity with and HRIS or HCM platform;
- Proficiency in MS Office applications: Outlook, Word, and Excel; familiarity with SharePoint is a plus;
- Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish fluently, using proper grammar and punctuation;
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
