Global Agility Solutions is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator who assists in the day-to-day operations including the administration of human resources policies, procedures, and programs. The individual in this role will be responsible for administrative tasks that support the Human Resources team.
The HR Coordinator will perform a variety of personnel-related administrative tasks. He/She/They will support the HR department in duties like posting job ads, updating HR database and processing employees' requests.
Our HR Coordinator position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to oversee sensitive information confidentially.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Active involvement in recruitment by preparing and managing job ads, coordinating interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
- Sets up, schedules and coordinates meetings for interviewees and hiring managers.
- Provides orientation for new employees by providing information packets, reviewing company policies, explaining benefit programs, and obtaining signatures for documents.
- Work with third party staffing agencies to coordinate sourcing, onboarding and administration of timecards and approvals for temporary staff, as well as coordinate on employee related matters.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data, like absences, bonuses, and leaves.
- Processes time off requests.
- Maintains human resources records for employees by recording the hiring, transfer, termination, change in job classifications, and merit increase dates as well as tracking personal time off (PTO).
- Assist in maintaining company benefits package, coordinating with PEO to ensure applicable renewal paperwork is completed each year, and enroll new team members as applicable, etc.
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues by intaking and handling inquiries from employees and refers complex and/or sensitive matters to senior Human Resources team members, as needed.
- Completes other related responsibilities as assigned based on business needs.
