About the Job
L.J Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates as a Human Resources Coordinator with our client based in Congers, NY. In this temp-hire role in a cosmetic manufacturing plant environment, you'll be responsible for the following.
Job Duties:
- Facilitate new hire onboarding process
- Develop, update and communicate HR policies and procedures
- Adhere to HR policies and legal requirements
- Coordinate training programs for employees and managers
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and practices
- Source candidates, screen resume, and coordinate interviews
- Act as the point of contact for employee inquires, concerns, and conflict resolution
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years experience as a HR Coordinator in a manufacturing environment
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
