OVERVIEW: The HR Assistant-Receptionist plays a crucial role in supporting human resources functions and managing front desk activities. The ideal candidate should have a fundamental grasp of HR processes, strong administrative capabilities, and excellent communication skills. This role reports directly to the Human Resources Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
HR Support:
- Arrange interviews and communicate with job applicants.
- Update and maintain employee records.
- Assist in the onboarding process and manage related documentation.
- Review and process insurance invoices.
- Plan and coordinate employee events.
Front Desk Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors and oversee front desk operations.
- Answer and route phone calls.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Keep the reception area tidy and organized.
- Schedule and organize meetings and appointments.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the HR, Production, and Quality departments through data entry, filing, and document preparation.
- Manage inventory of office supplies.
- Facilitate effective communication between departments.
- Handle confidential information with discretion.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in HR or business administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in administrative or HR support roles.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain professionalism in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with HR processes is advantageous.
Additional Details:
- Salary: $54,000 - $58,000 per year
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm (with some flexibility)
